Who we are
Spring Hill is run by INFINITE GOLDEN SCISSORS 1 LTD (company number 16936913) and Selly Oak by INFINITE GOLDEN SCISSORS 2 LTD (company number 16381354). The two companies are jointly responsible for your information, and you can ask either of them about it. You can contact us by calling your shop or emailing infinitegoldenscissors@gmail.com.
What we collect
Your first name, email address and phone number, the shop, service, date and time you choose, and notes the shop adds about your appointment (for example whether it went ahead). We don’t take card details online. We need your first name and contact details to take a booking; without them we can’t book you in.
Why we use it
To book and manage your appointment, to contact you about it, and to email you when you book and if your appointment is changed or cancelled. We use your information because you asked us to book an appointment. We don’t sell it or use it for marketing, and no decisions about you are made automatically.
Who else handles it
Companies that run our website, booking records, backups and booking emails for us. Some of them store or process information in the United States, under safeguards recognised by UK law (the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or UK-approved contract terms). Our backups are encrypted before they leave our systems.
How long we keep it
Your appointment is not deleted straight away when it ends. It is deleted, together with your details and any notes about you, at our next monthly clean-up, which runs automatically on the first day of each month. So your details are kept from your booking until the first of the month after your appointment.
We keep only monthly figures for each shop (how many website bookings there were, how many were attended or missed, and their estimated value), which don’t identify anyone. Our email provider keeps its own copy of each booking email for 30 days. We keep encrypted backup copies of our booking records for up to 7 days, so deleted details can remain in a backup for up to 7 days before the backup is deleted automatically.
Maps
Our homepage and shop pages can show maps from Google Maps. They load only if you choose “Allow Google Maps”. When they load, Google receives information about your visit (such as your IP address and browser details) and may use cookies, under Google’s own privacy policy.
We remember your choice in this browser, with no expiry, until you choose “Turn off maps” or clear your browser’s storage. It isn’t sent to us. If your browser doesn’t let us remember it, maps load for that page only. “Turn off maps” removes the maps and stops them loading again; it doesn’t remove cookies Google may already have set, which you can clear in your browser’s settings.
Google Maps is currently off in this browser.
Our addresses and phone numbers are always shown as text. The “Get directions” and “Open in Google Maps” links take you to Google Maps.
Your rights
